In their mid twenties, not too many young men can have had the
experiences under their belt that this singer has.
After 5 Years performing and living
in Europe, Mark returned to these shores in 2003 and his career
has taken off in a remarkable manner. After winning the
prestigious ‘REGAL FAME GAME’
in February 2003 he went on to be awarded
‘ACT of the
YEAR’ for the North of England.
On the strength of hearing his unique version of a Mavericks song, Curb Records invited him down to London to record a Mort Schjolin song ‘STRAIGHT BACK AT YA!
The single was launched on ‘FEEL THE NOISE’ at Newcastle Racecourse where, in front of 25,000 people and Gareth Gates, Blue, Atomic Kitten, Hear’say, Liberty X, Darius, Zoe, Sugababes, The Lighthouse Family and more he performed live.
His experience really showed that day and he left thousands of fans, young and old screaming for more. ITV followed this up with interviews with Darius, Zoe and the Lighthouse Family all heaping praise on this very talented young man.
Following this show, Mark was asked to appear on ‘MUSIC MANIA’, sponsored by the ASDA Group, who at Gatehead with Atomic Kitten, Sugababes, Daniel Beddingfield, Busted, Blazin’ Squad, Aaron Bayley and many others. The show was hosted by Doctor Fox who loved Mark’s performance, especially “Straight Back at Ya”. After reaching Number 7 in the Pop Charts, numerous TV appearances led to Mark touring the UK with Dr Fox and The Sugababes.
New Years Eve 2006 saw Mark at Newcastle’s BIGGEST gig of the year when he appeared on The Metro Radio Stage on Newcastle’s Quayside in front of 50,000 revellers. This is an annual, wrist-band event which also goes out live on Metro Radio.
In 2007, Mark was chosen by Richard Branson’s “VIRGIN VIE” to appear at The Birmingham NEC Arena in front of 10,000 girls to perform as the image of their new range of cosmetics, “Rock Star”

July 23rd 2007 saw Mark invited to appear before an audience of over 500 Thai people at a special benefit show in Gateshead when he was invited to appear in March (2008), in Thailand, at The Pattaya International Music Festival to co-incide with the re-release out there of his single, “Straight Back at Ya!”
August and November 2007 saw Mark performing to Cruise passengers throughout Europe and Scandanavia while December 1st to 23rd he a great Xmas season at The Lea Park Hotel, Grangemouth, Scotland where he is appearing with his friend and colleague, TV Comedian Rudi West before leaving for Scandanavia in January 2008.
April 2008 and Mark headed for the Mediterranean and Naples on board several of P & O’s finest Cruise Liners.
2009 saw the release of Mark’s CD “About Time”, a lovely mix of sexy swing numbers and a few of Mark’s favourites!
Mark has been invited to appear March 2010 at the Pattaya International Music Festival in Thailand where he will be the first European act to appear in the 10 years that the Festival has been running. He will appear alongside all of Asias Major recording artistes over three nights on three seperate stages in front of 150,000 Asian people. This will coincide with the re-release over there of “Straight Back at Ya!” which has already been “leaked“ and played on Channels 5 and 7 in Thailand. Mark will also be doing several concerts and TV shows while he is there.
Summer 2009 has seen Mark at several Music Festivals throughout the UK and Europe, culminating in September with a special appearance at The Music and Food Festival 2009 in Maastricht, Holland.
As always, Mark’s first love of Music and
entertaining, has led him back to working Summer 2010 for
Thomson’s Holiday Villages and Hotels in Europe before his
massive Xmas schedule at The Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead, one
of the Country’s most prestigious venues .
2011
Following Mark's Xmas Season he, once again, left for Norway
where he has pleased his fans and Bookers headlining on MS
Magic.
Summer has seen him Entertaining Thomson Sensatori clients in
Europe and his Xmas of 2011 consists of working in his own
North-East with a series of his “That Bubble Magic!” Shows.
